Pumpkin Ale Recipe by Jack Horne

Grain: 12 lb – American 6-Row Pale Lager Malt
2 lbs – 20-40oL Crystal/Caramel Malt

Mash: 152 degrees, 60 minutes

Hops:   1.0 oz Cascade – 60 min.
1.6 oz Willamette + 1 oz Mt. Hood at flame out

Spices: (at flameout)
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoon ginger

“Pumpkin”: (beginning of the boil)
2 butternut squash (peeled, sliced, oven-roasted, then cubed)

Boil: 60 Minutes

OG: 1.064

FG: 1.013

ABV: 6.7%
