CALLING ALL BREWERS!
I’m conducting a survey and your input is crucial. What are your favorite yeasts? How do you use them? I’m not looking to steal your special recipe or any secret details.
We’ve got a bunch of members in the club now but that’s not enough brewers to really get enough info on the vast amount of yeast strains available.
Most of us use the “normal” or suggested yeast for a particular beer. However, many of us have deviated from “normal” and have tried other yeasts which don’t immediately come to mind when brewing a particular style of beer.
Ferment temperatures are another bug-a-boo. If you’ve had good results using higher or lower temps from the suggested normal range, let me know.
If you’ve cultured a yeast from the dregs of a bottle, I’m interested.
If you’ve tried some yeast which turned out to be a disappointment, I’d like to hear about that too!
As I get responses, I’ll publish the results and we can all benefit from each other’s experience.
